Wild Dunes Resort is proud to welcome back the famed oceanfront 18th hole of the Links Course, our signature course that has drawn golfers to the Isle of Palms for decades. After a 20-month cycle of natural beach erosion, the coastline along Wild Dunes Resort has been revitalized through a comprehensive beach restoration project. Working with golf architect Tom Fazio, the course's original designer, the 18th hole was transformed in 2008 from a par-5 to a par-3 after a portion of the original green was washed away by the erosion.
The newly restored hole opened for play June, 2009. We appreciate our guests' patience throughout the erosion and restoration project.
