Listen to make more putts.
I was at the Masters in 1996 and it was late in the evening, and Nick Faldo was practicing 8-10 footers. He was working on something that many golfers can benefit from. Here is how it works.
Take a few golf balls and put them in a circle approximately five feet away from the cup. See if you can listen for the ball to fall into the hole. It is harder than you think. Try to swing the club back and forth the same distance this will help control how far the ball will roll.

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Turtle Point features three spectacular
oceanfront holes. Opened in 1981 and totally renovated in 2000, its low profile design takes advantage of the island’s natural contours and
dune ridges. The course flows seamlessly through interior forests of hardwoods
and palmettos, along backwater lagoons and finally to three spectacular holes
along the Atlantic Ocean. The
course has hosted many amateur and professional tournaments including the 1990
PGA Cup Matches and the 2006 Carolina Amateur. It was recently awarded 4 ½ stars in Golf Digest’s
"Best Places to Play" reader’s poll. Facilities include a $7.5
million clubhouse built in a classic Lowcountry style.
